Well, things sure have changed in Mystic Falls! One minute, Rebekah (Claire Holt) is headmistress of a detention dungeon, the next, Stefan (Paul Wesley) is colluding with her on how to find the cure.
In a spoiler clip for Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 11, “Catch Me If You Can,” the new team members start plotting — after Stefan covers up his naked torso with a shirt. Must he be so modest?
“We’re at a bit of a disadvantage in this whole race for the cure,” Bex points out. While Klaus (Joseph Morgan) has Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and his hunter’s mark, Professor Shane (David Alpay) has Bonnie (Kat Graham) — aka, the key to everything.
Rebekah wants to steal Silas’s headstone to convert Shane to their side. “And Team Klaus will be left out in the cold where he belongs,” she says.
And for those of you who were hoping Stefan’s desire to erase Elena (Nina Dobrev) from his memory was just a fluke, the younger Salvatore assures his new partner in crime, “I’m done with her.”
If years of watching Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have taught us anything, it’s that Elena Gilbert isn’t that easy to get over.
