SHOCKER: Pokello 'dumps' Boyfriend Stunner live on TV
Pokello became the 16th housemate to be evicted from Big Brother Africa The Chase, bringing to an end Zimbabwe’s dream of winning the US$300,000 grand prize. This was the fifth time Pokello was up for eviction and the fourth time in a row.
The vivacious Pokello, probably suffering from nomination fatigue, seemed not to be too bothered about being booted off the show, and said that it was just a game and life would go on.
When she learnt that it was time to head out, she kissed Ghanaian housemate Elikem, who she had developed a special relationship with, gave hugs to the rest of her housemates and then made her way out through the awkward silence that shrouded the house.
During her red couch interview with presenter IK she said, "I was not surprised when I got nominated. I was never afraid of going home because I did not walk out of a stone, I have a home."
She also revealed that what the relationship she had with Elikem was for real.

Selly immediately confessed her unflinching love for him, with Praye maintaining that Selly’s well publicized love-sessions were all part of a game plan.
‘I love Big J (Praye Tiatia) and we are not breaking up – we are even stronger together and I want to take this opportunity to say I thank him a lot for being my tower of strength – even before I return from South Africa people told him to dump me but he has been so supportive,’ Selly said.
This is contrary to recent media report, which quoted her as saying she loved BBA housemate Nando and wished he would win the show.
There has been a gargantuan controversy around Selly and Nando following the latter’s confession that he and Selly had an affair in the house and Selly had infected him with a sexually transmitted disease (STD).
Selly told Adom News she never had sex with Nando and that both of them were tested and no such disease was found on her, so she suspects Nandon might have picked up the infection from a toilet seat.
‘I have no STDs and I have a medical report to prove that’ she stated emphatically.
She admitted to making out with Nando in the house, but denied there was penetration, adding that the controversy has strengthened her relationship with boyfriend Praye Tiatia aka ‘Big J’.
‘Big J is the best guy I have ever known in my life because in the midst of all these confusion he was my strength. My friends in South Africa thought I was going to be crucified when I return to Ghana but Big J encouraged me to return and clear the air,’ she said with pride.
Selly said she was very surprised at the media report linking her to Nando as lovers, and quoting her as saying she wants Nanado to win.
She said she actually wishes either Melvin or Elikem won the show and not Nando.
‘I wonder why the media in my own country are so judgmental while their colleagues in South Africa have been so supportive of me,’ she asked.
Meanwhile, boyfriend Big J is alleged to have said in another forum that whatever Selly did in the house was part of her game plan, but he does not believe she had an affair with Nando.

Nigerian student, Jeremiah needs $30k for open heart surgery
He is just 22, but looks an eighty year old.
His problem is that he is ravaged by diseases. Since he was aged 3, he was diagnosed with congenital heart disease and was placed on drugs.Campaigners on his behalf said his condition was stable for some years, but the disease has resurfaced, with some viciousness.
Right now the heart disease has made his stomach, legs and private part swollen and he needs an Open Heart Surgery in India, to stay alive. Doctors diagnosed his health defect as Ventricular septal defect.
We can all be indifferent and allow Jeremiah to die, but we certainly will all bear the burden of guilt for not helping a fellow Nigerian when it matters most.
The funding goal for the surgery has been fixed at $30,000 that is 5million naira, according to Aminat Adebukola Wahab of Shawttynatt Online Media. (www.shawttynatt.com)

The Senates claimed that a woman is deemed to be full of age once she is married irrespective of her age.
The Proponents or supporters of the under-age marriage rule includes Senator Yerima Ahmad Sani, Zamfara West, who claimed that the provision which stipulates a certain age for women before getting married, was at variance with Islamic law.

This stunning news seemed to take the Chasemates off guard. Why wouldn't it considering that Natasha has beensaved from the Eviction gallows many times by Africa's vote.
The Malawian's final Diary Session earlier this evening was more than cryptic. "Sometimes your luck runs out", she said. And sadly, it has! All the pretty Malawian could do when she heard the news was to look on in stunned silence. Clearly her cleaning strategy, nor her fun Airtel Show could save her.
Selly on the other hand had to contend with the bewilderment of hearing Oneal had savedElikem and put her neck on the chopping block instead. Before she had even had a chance to process that information, IK called curtains on her Chase race.
This Eviction caps a difficult week in the game for the Ghanaian, who has had to navigate treacherous waters in both the Ruby and Diamond Houses, following a massive fight with former love interest, Sulu. Luckily the two buried the hatchet when Sulu told her "When other people saw rubbish, you looked at me and saw something precious". Before the dust had settled following her swap to the Diamond House on Friday, Selly and former flame, Nando, had a brawl of epic proportions.
Nevertheless, after all is said and done, the two gorgeous divas have a lot to be proud of. Reaching and exceeding The Chase's halfway mark is no ordinary feat.

Kenya's Alusa hails from the capital Nairobi. The 32 year old boasts of a diploma in communication and is an actor and radio director. Alusa finds Pokello’s boisterous nature very attractive. “She’s got this ‘I don’t care attitude’ and I like that,” he says with a broad smile. Should Elikem be scared? He says he also admires his namesake Melvin for merely that reason. Alusa’s first name is Melvin. Asked how he will act around his favourite Housemates, Alusa says “I will pretend, pretend, pretend. I have so much information on them so I know which buttons to press.”
1) What is your strategy in keeping to the mission given by Big Brother?
I want to have lots of fun but I’ll also keep focused because this is a very important mission.
2) What will be chasing after the BBA experience?This is a big platform so I will take the opportunity to revive some of my projects that I had stalled.
