I can categorically state that Femi has slept with the lady (Adaobi Uchegbu) he mentioned on his FB wall, I don’t know about Miss Chioma Anasoh, I have never heard or seen her before but I say he’s only dreaming of sleeping with Bianca. I believe he’s only lying or trying to make his petition against Ibos strong by dragging Bianca to his chains and lists of banged women. Throughout my time with them (OBJ, Atiku, Imoke and Femi), I have never seen or heard of any relationship between him and Bianca. It would be surprising to know that Femi has never in his life met Bianca, because Femi is very good at lies.
8. No doubt Femi has slept with many Nigerian women (Yoruba, Hausa, Ibo, IJaw etc); Married and Unmarried women.
9. He was not only the person that slept with Adaobi Ukaegbu. I have done it with her severally even when Femi was poking her day and night in Abuja. Fani-kayode “Expresses Deep Regrets” For Mentioning Bianca & Others (LOOK)

Nigeria’s former minister of aviation under the President Obasanjo democratic government, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has expressed his regrets for mentioning the names of some Nigerians – of Igbo lineage – in his article that sought to present himself as not being a “tribalist.” The part of the article where he mentioned his “intimacy” with the women did not go unnoticed to the general public. This statement sent by Chief Femi Fani-Kayode seeks to express the former minister’s regret.

Chief Femi Fani-Kayode hereby expresses his deepest regrets for mentioning the names of three distinguished Nigerian ladies that he was once associated with in his last article titled ”A Word For Those Who Say I am A Tribalist”. He meant no harm by doing so and neither did he at any point make references to having had any intimate relations with any of these ladies when they were associated with him as is being suggested by some members of the public. He was simply trying to emphasise the fact that he has nothing against the igbo people and that his friendship with these three ladies in particular over the years provided some evidence of that.

For the record he has not seen Madame Chioma Anasoh, Chief Adaobi Kate Uchegbu and Ambassador Bianca Onoh in many years and he admits that it was inappropiate for him to have mentioned their names in the essay, to use them as a point of reference in a public discussion or to make any references whatsoever to the nature of their past association. All references to them have been erased from the updated version of the essay.

Chief Fani-Kayode has reached two of the ladies concerned and he has personally conveyed his unreserved apology to them both and to their families for his indiscretion. He shall endeavour to reach the third lady to do the same in the next few days. Chief Fani-Kayode has nothing more to say on this matter and would prefer to remain focused on issues of national importance and not of a personal nature -

ATIKU, 9 PDP GOVERNORS FLOAT NEW PARTY, APPLY FOR REGISTRATION

Baring any last minute hitch, a new political party will berth in the already charged Nigerian political turf this week, Daily Independent reports. 

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) confirmed on Wednesday that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and some Governors of the crisis-ridden ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) have applied for the registration of a group, Peoples Progressive Movement (PPM), as a political party. 

According to the paper, Kayodu Idowu, Chief Press Secretary to INEC Chairman, Attahiru Jega, confirmed this latest twist to their correspondent on phone. 

The Governors who are promoting the new political association are Murtala Nyako of Adamawa State, Babangida Aliyu of Niger State, Sule Lamido of Jigawa State and Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano State. 

The five Governors have been in the vanguard of dissent within the mainstream PDP. 

They have been moving round the country to “consult” with past leaders to “save the country’s nascent democracy.” 

Beside the five, there are also indications that Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed, Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State and Governor of Taraba may have decided to stake their political lot with the yet to be registered party.

Fan Sent To Jail For Hugging Christiano Ronaldo During Match (WATCH)

The fan who was jailed for invading the pitch during the International Champions Cup match between Real Madrid and Chelsea to hug Cristiano Ronaldo last week has stressed that he has no regrets over his actions.
Ronald Gjoka, 19, ran onto the pitch in the 67th minuteto embrace his idol, only to be arrested by local police and taken to jail for trespassing and disorderly conduct.

Gjoka spent the night in prison before he was allowed to leave the day after, yet he has stressed that the moment was worththe punishment.

"Honestly, first thing was look straight, find Cristiano and don't look back. Just go," Gjoka told Local10.
"I decided to add a little knee slide on it just for a little celebration. I think Ronaldo always does that celebration so I thought that he would find it funny, and he did, he gave it a little laugh.

"But after that, I gave him a big hug, told him you're one of my biggest idols, always followed you and I said, 'Please, Ronaldo, don't let the cops take me,' and that's when Ronaldo gave me a very big hug.
"I got the opportunity to talk to Ronaldo. It was a unique opportunity and I had to take it. It was worth the detention."
The Portugal international netted twice to help Madrid to a 3-1 win over Chelsea in last week's encounter.

Afe Babalola University students deplore increase in their school fees

I’ve been getting quite a number of emails from students of Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti state bemoaning the recent increase in their school fees. According to the students, the school outrageously increased their fees for the 2013/2014 academic session by over 40%. The students got a notice yesterday Monday August 12th informing them of the increase which they say is ‘unfair’. For instance Engineering and Law students paid N695,000 last semester but the new fee for this semester is N1,095,000, N695,000 for social and management college and sciences, N1, 200 000 for medicine students, some fees went from N755,000 to N 1,245,000 and so on.

Teacher In Edo State Can Not Read His Own Certificate (PICTURED)

It was a drama of sorts during the verification exercise of primary school teachers’ certificates in Edo State on Tuesday as one of the teachers in the state, Mrs. Augusta Odemwingie, could not read a sworn affidavit she tendered as part of her credentials.

Mrs. Odemwingie teaches at Asologun Primary School, Ikpoba Okha local government area of Benin City, Governor Adams Oshiomhole, who paid an unscheduled visit to the State Staff Training Centre venue of the exercise was appalled that a teacher could not read, saying “if you can’t read, what do you teach the pupils? What do you write on the board?”
The Chairman of the state chapter of the Nigeria Union of Teachers, Comrade Patrick Ikosimi, who was also at the screening to monitor the exercise, said the woman’s failure was “an embarrassment.”
On arrival at the centre, the governor took time to peruse some of the teachers’ credentials and documents presented.
When Mrs. Odenwingie took her turn during the exercise, the governor who listened to her defence asked her to read the affidavit she presented.
She stuttered and read the affidavit as if a kindergarten was learning to read, to the consternation of everybody around.

No Money To Meet Demands; ASUU Can Continue Their Strike! – Okonjo-Iweala

There is always money to pay our political officers holders, even more than their counterparts in developed countries. But when it comes to matters of developing the leaders of tomorrow or critical infrastructure in Nigeria, there will always be scarcity of funds.

Below is what the coordinating minister of the economy is saying to ASUU:

“At present, ASUU wants government to pay N92 billion in extra allowances over and above their salaries. Though we are in discussion with them, the problem is that the resources to take care of the demands are simply not there.”
“People are supportive when there is agitation to increase salaries, pensions among others. But on the other hand, people also turn around to say the recurrent budget is too high and there is no way you can have it both ways and so we have to make specific choices in this country.”
“Do we want to get to a stage when virtually all the monies and resources we earn are being used to pay salaries and allowances for public servants, who make up a minute percentage of the country’s population?

“If we do, it means that government workers will take up the entire budget of the country with nothing left for roads, water, education and others.”

The Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister for the Economy, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala spoke while delivering keynote address at the opening of 2013 National Council on Finance & Economic Development, NACOFED, in Minna, Niger State, on Tuesday.
